Oregon Hiring Increases to Fastest Pace Since 2005

According to the Oregon Employment Department, employers have created an estimated 7,500 jobs last month. This is the most jobs created in any four week stretch since November 2005. Many of the state’s important employment sectors picked up jobs, including the government sector, leisure and hospitality business, restaurants and construction.
