The Beaverton School District committee of 6 parents made 5 recommendations to the Superintendent of ways to resolve the overcrowding of students at the Springville and Stoller schools. The recommendations included: routing incoming students from the new development in Bethany to area schools, expedite the building of the new North Bethany elementary school and new Cedar Mill middle school, move the Summa program from Stoller to Meadow Park Middle School, add more modular classrooms to the Stoller Middle School campus and add more portable classrooms at Rock Creek Elementary. There were more than 600 votes cast with 47% selecting the option to route students away from North Bethany into area schools. For more information, CLICK HERE.
